THREE VIRGINIA DIVISION CofC MEMBERS ELECTED TO GENERAL OFFICE

Recording Secretary General Jamie Maupin, Third Vice President General Kit Willis, and Editor General Crystal Brown
Three Virginia Division CofC members were elected to General office at the 50th annual Children of the Confederacy General convention, held July 22–24 in Charlotte, N.C. Ex-Virginia Division President and Skylark Chapter member Jamie Maupin was elected Recording Secretary. Kit Willis, also a member of Skylark Chapter, was elected to the office of Third Vice President General, and Elizabeth Curtis Wallace member and Division Vice President Crystal Brown was elected Editor General.
Other awards and honors earned by the Division and its members were as follows:
- Turner-Holland Award (to the Division Director registering the youngest member): Sharon Maupin (Lauren Davis Patteson registered in Skylark Chapter at the age of 1 hour, 47 minutes)
- Captain Louis Jefferson Laird Trophy (to the Chapter registering the most new members on the same Confederate ancestor): Liberty Hall Volunteers (Lexington) (tied with Olustee Heritage - Florida)
- Division Directors Badge (to the Division Director organizing or reactivating the most new chapters): Sharon Maupin (tied with Trudy Hall, North Carolina Division)
- Wallce Kingsbury Certificate of Merit (to the Division organizing or reactivating the most new Chapters during the year): Virginia (tied with North Carolina)
- R. McLean Coble III Award (to the Chapter submitting the best Chapter newsletter): Elizabeth Curtis Wallace (Chesapeake)
- Laverne H. Watson Silver Bowl (Outstanding Chapter Yearbook): Skylark #886
- Stockton B. Jefferson Award (presented to a female member for performing duties above and beyond the call of duty on the Chapter, Division, and General levels):
