June 1, 2007: Rededication of President Davis Monument
President Davis Chapter #2197 - Francine Stanley, President

Almost 100 years to the day after the monument was pulled into place by 3,000 school children on June 2, 1907, Richmond's President Davis Chapter rededicated the statue of Confederate President Jefferson Davis on Monument Avenue. We were honored by the presence of many from Chapter through General level. A reception catered by members of the President Davis Chapter was held in Davis Circle following the ceremony.
